UNI(SAL)REMO: music that unites, talent that moves

An evening filled with music, passion, and youthful talent, once again captivating and engaging everyone in attendance
  26 maggio 2025

After the great success of the previous edition, on May 22, the stage of UNI(SAL)REMO once again shone brightly—the concert featuring students of the Pontifical Salesian University. An evening filled with music, passion, and youthful talent, captivating and engaging everyone present.

The event stems from a deep conviction: music is a universal language capable of expressing emotions, breaking down barriers, creating bonds, and fostering a sense of community. And in this vibrant and dynamic atmosphere, the true protagonists were the students themselves. With their voices, their songs—both original and reinterpreted—and their personal stories, they shared their identities and perspectives on the world with authenticity and courage.

The night was an explosion of talent and energy, as well as a precious opportunity to celebrate young creativity, offering a space where each participant could freely express themselves in a welcoming, familiar and profoundly Salesian environment.

Moments of great emotion, surprises, special guests, and—following tradition—the much-anticipated audience vote were all part of the event. The winner of this edition was Rio Benemerito, who captivated the audience with his intense rendition of "Se telefonando".

A heartfelt thanks goes to all the artists who graced the evening with unique voices and performances:

  • LaFoscaLa nevicata del ’56
  • Alessio Filippi (accompanied by Andrea Lanfrit) – La notte non dormi
  • Asia TarantinoPerdere l’amore
  • Chiara ConsorteLa cura per me
  • Sara BongianniCoraline

The success of the event was made possible by the passion and dedication of Aurora Tetto, who curated the artistic direction and enchanted the audience with her splendid voice. Special thanks also go to Luca Valli and the evening’s hosts and entertainers—Lorenzo, Gaia, Adriano, Valeria and Marco—who fostered an atmosphere of lightheartedness, enthusiasm, and participation.

Adding depth to the evening was the message of reflection and hope from Rector Magnificus, prof. Don Andrea Bozzolo, who emphasized music’s role as a tool for personal and collective growth. A particularly touching moment was dedicated to the dear Matteo Mancia, whose memory remains alive in everyone’s hearts.

UNI(SAL)REMO was jointly promoted by the Communication and Development Office, the University Pastoral Service, and the Pro Universitate Don Bosco ETS Association, demonstrating a valuable synergy that puts young people and their world at the center.

A night to remember, lived through music, friendship, true emotions, and immense joy. While awaiting the next edition, one thing is certain: at UPS, music is not just a performanceit’s a shared life experience.
