The Parables of Jesus The Seminar introduces the students to make a deeper study of the parables of Jesus in order to arrive at their message. After a brief and general presentation of the literary genre of the parable, the seminar will look at the types of parables of Jesus in the Gospels, their context, purpose and message. Each student will study and present a parable using the following outline: a. Delimitation and Unity of the Parable; b. The Context; c. Exegesis; d. Message; e. Relevance Today.
