Faculty of Educational Sciences

The Faculty of Educational Sciences evolved from the Higher Institute of Pedagogy (ISP) proposed and established by don Pietro Ricaldone, Grand Chancellor of the then Pontifical Salesian University, in the academic year 1941-1942. The renewed interest in the topic of pedagogy after the Second World War and the developments in the Institute's research led in 1956 to the pontifical recognition of the diplomas awarded by the ISP which was subsequently elevated to faculty status in 1973.

The Faculty of Educational Sciences publishes the magazine Orientamenti Pedagogici.
