Pursuant to Article 39 of the Statutes, on June 15 the Grand Chancellor appointed Professor Paolo ZINI, SDB, as Prefect of the Don Bosco Library for the 2025–2028 term. Paolo Zini is a Salesian coadjutor who served for many years as Dean at the Salesian Center for Studies “Paolo VI” in Nave (BS), affiliated with the Faculty of Philosophy, and is currently a lecturer at the same Faculty at UPS.
He holds a degree in Philosophy from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan and earned his doctorate in Theology from the Theological Faculty of Northern Italy in Milan. He has authored several publications, including Semantics of Omnipotence. Hegel and Barth: Face of History, Face of God (Glossa); and Freedom and Fulfillment. An Essay in Philosophy of Religion (Glossa).
